Netflix has hundreds of shows and films to watch, which sounds great, unless you're terrible at making decisions. Fortunately, we've taken the time to sit on our couches and watch the best that the streaming service has to offer. So, you can spend less time scrolling and more time watching the best series and movies this weekend.
Here's our pick of Netflix for the weekend.
Mindhunter
Created by Joe Penhall and executive produced by David Fincher and Charlize Theron, the show's first season was praised by critics for its unique spin on the crime genre. It recreates the early days of serial killer profiling at the FBI in a dark, gritty way by following two agents as they get up close and personal with some of the most dangerous criminals around.
Based on a true story, it's the kind of show that will stay with you for a long time. If you get it watched this weekend, you'll be ready for Mindhunter season two which is set to be released in full on Netflix on Friday, 16th August.
GLOW
GLOW, or Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, is more about the ladies than wrestling, so if you're not into powerbombs and suplexes then I'd still give this a go. Alison Brie plays Ruth, an out-of-work actress in 1980s Los Angeles who finds one last chance for stardom when she's thrust into the glitter and spandex world of women's wrestling. She must compete against an array of colourful characters including Debbie Eagan (Betty Gilpin) a former soap actress who left the business to have a baby, only to be sucked back into work when her picture-perfect life is not what it seems. Glow season 3 is out right now.
I Am Mother
Imagine living in a future where the entire human race has become extinct, you were grown in a test tube and your mother was a robot voiced by Rose Byrne. That's the reality for protagonist 'Daughter' in this sci-fi thriller. Weirdly, having an android for a mum doesn't seem so bad until an intruder from the outside (Hilary Swank) turns up and makes 'Daughter' question everything she's ever learned. With many twists and turns and some swanky special effects, I Am Mother is definitely worth your time.
Spider-Man: Homecoming
I've lost count of how many Spider-Man reboots there have been, but Marvel have finally nailed it with this one. Tom Holland is the perfect person to play the web slinger.
It even features Birdman, Michael Keaton, playing avian baddy Adrian Toomes. It's action packed, fast-paced and more importantly, a really fun way to spend your weekend.

Now all you need to do is get the popcorn in, sit back and chill. Not like that.
