Jack Whitehall's Little Mix Joke Receives Most BRIT Awards Complaints

A crude joke made by Jack Whitehall at the BRIT Awards last night has received more complaints than anything else in last night's showpiece event.

25 people took the time to call up watchdog Ofcom to register their displeasure with a joke made by the posh comedian about dads' - erm - 'reactions' to a performance by girl group Little Mix.

Incidentally, 38 complaints were made in total. Presumably most of the rest were about Calvin Harris' Scottish accent.

After Little Mix performed their number wearing pink PVC, Whitehall quipped: "Raunchy! Dads up and down the country are awkwardly fumbling for a scatter cushion right now."

Were most of the people who complained simply doing so to distract other people in the room from their erections? We'll never know.

That wasn't the only piece of fun that Whitehall had with the band - consisting of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall - after he ribbed them about a recent spat they had with the professional windbag Piers Morgan.

The Good Morning Britain presenter had complained about Little Mix stripping off for a music video aimed at empowering young women to be positive about their bodies.

Yeah, I know, that's bloody well out of order, isn't it? Seriously, imagine being upset about that.

Anyway, Piers didn't like it. He said: "They're stripping off to sell albums, that's what it's about.

"The rest of it is baloney. They don't have any flaws, they've been airbrushed to look perfect.

"They're fake. There's not a mark on them. You can't even see the surgery."

Last night at the BRITS, Whitehall said: "Piers Morgan. He didn't like that picture where you stripped off naked which is weird because four chins and voluptuous breasts - it must have been like looking in the mirror."

Ooft. Put some ice on that burn, Piers.

Whilst he was at it, Jack also took the opportunity to give Jesy Nelson some stick about a recent shot of her getting intimate with Love Island's Chris Hughes in a kebab shop.

And they say romance is dead...

Nelson was spotted basically licking Hughes tongue in a bizarre photo. Seriously, is that how it's supposed to be done? I'm not so sure.

Whitehall added: "I love Little Mix though, you girls have a wonderful time at the after party, night clubs, kebab shops or wherever you naughty Little Mixers get up to mischief."

Luckily, Nelson took the jibe in silence, although her band-mates struggled to contain their amusement.

Well, at least something interesting came out of the whole BRIT Awards ceremony.
