Dave Grohl's Impression Of Christopher Walken Is Spot-On

We all know Dave Grohl is a talented man - singer, guitarist, drummer, songwriter, producer...you get the idea.

But as well as fronting one of the biggest rock bands in the world - and drumming for one of the most iconic bands of all time - did you know that he also does a mean Christopher Walken impression? Of course, you didn't, but he does.

Speaking to Chris Moyles for Radio X, Grohl recounted the story of the time the Hollywood star was hosting Saturday Night Live and had to introduce the band.

Unfamiliar with the band, he asked Grohl whether the emphasis was on the word 'Foo' or 'Fighter'. Grohl, wanting to hear his band's name in true Walken-style, lied and said 'fighter'.

Walken has one of the most distinctive voices in Hollywood, so everyone can do a bit of an impression, but not as good as this.

In fact, Grohl's spot-on impersonation of Walken proves too much for Moyles who can't stop himself from bursting out laughing and said: "I've never heard you use that voice before!"

Grohl clearly knows how good this impression, you can tell by the look on his face - this is his party piece.

I think my favourite thing about this clip, which is from 2003, is the fact that Walken clearly has no idea who the Foo Fighters are. Straight over his head. No clue.

"I thought you were Chinese." For fuck's sake, Walken, at least pretend you know who the guests are, eh?

While we're on the subject of Ghohl and his amazing impersonations, can we take a minute to appreciate that he's basically turned into Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen?
