Everyone's favourite ginger-haired songster is well-known for using a loop rig in his sets, adding 'layers' of instrumentals to his tracks, so that he doesn't need a backing band and bosses the whole thing on his own.
Remember this from the Grammys earlier this year?
However, it seems as though the idea of a loop-pedal was alien to some people watching Ed's headline gig last night, so they took to social media to try and have a go at the 26-year-old for lip-syncing.
In his own post on Twitter, Ed has defended his set, writing: "Never thought I'd have to explain it, but everything I do in my live show is live, it's a loop station, not a backing track. Please google x"
Before following it up with a second tweet, saying: "Anyway, great night, great atmosphere, family, friends, fun. Love you all x"
Take it as a compliment, Ed. If you're so good singing live that people reckon you're miming then you're obviously doing something right.
