Elton John's recent performance in Las Vegas was cut short after he swore at a fan and stormed off stage.

The Rocket Man was performing his smash-hit Saturday Night's Alright during his Sin City residency at The Colosseum when a select group of fans were invited onto the stage with him.

However, the stunt backfired when one fan in particular ruined it for the rest of the crowd by repeatedly trying to get a high five and touching Elton's back. You can see Elton mouthing 'fuck off' several times when they got too close.

In the end he called it quits, swiveled round in his chair and stormed off the stage. The band tried to crack on and finish the song without Elton, much to the disappointment of everyone else watching.

The Metro reports that Elton eventually returned to the stage (although this time the crowd weren't invited), declaring: "No more coming on stage during Saturday Night. You fucked it up!"

Meanwhile, the main culprit - the high-fiver - was asked to leave the show.

Concertgoer Matthew Jay, said: "Holy shit Elton John just stormed the fuck off stage."

"During Saturday Night they brought a ton of people on stage, and one guy wouldn't stop touching him. He went off mic and clearly mouthed 'fuck off' twice and then pushed his hand.

"He left, and they cut the song short and ushered everyone off stage and escorted the guy out of the building."

All was not lost, and Elton carried on his set, hammering out a string of bangers including A Circle of Life from The Lion King. What a classic.
