Eminem appears to have revealed the name of his upcoming album and first single via a mysterious message left on Twitter and Instagram.

Rumours have been circulating about the new record for months, and the new title fits in nicely with the rapper's previous comebacks which have been titled Relapse (plus Relapse: Refill) and Recovery.

'Seizing' and 'moments' are another two mainstays in Eminem's arsenal, often popping up as lyrics in his songs. The most famous is 'Lose Yourself', although that's predominantly about spaghetti.

The news comes after Eminem was crowned the king of hiphop.

According to Ranker, the best of the best is none other than Marshall Mathers, which says: "Numerous different skills and attributes all must come together to make a truly legendary MC. Obviously, a rapper must display a sense of rhythm and an ability to complement the beat in unpredictable and exciting ways.

"A gift for lyricism and vocabulary is similarly essential - you can have the flow of the century, but if the words don't come together to tell a compelling story or present a unique point of view, it's still not going to translate into a great hip-hop song.

"But of course, there's also an intangible element that elevates some rappers into the ranks of the greatest of all time."

There's no denying that Eminem is brilliant at all those aspects.

His second major record, The Marshall Mathers LP, is reportedly the fastest-selling solo album in US history and is ranked as one of the best hip-hop albums of all time.

Relapse and Recovery sold more than two-and-a-half times more than efforts by Lil Wayne, his closest competitor for album sales. Eminem has also racked up billions upon billions of views on YouTube for his various tracks.

He'll be hoping to top all his previous successes with his next effort.
