We know Damon Albarn and co are currently in the studio crafting a new Gorillaz album. Firstly, we assumed the group's fourth record would arrive some time this year until Jamie Hewlett announced that it won't be with us until 2017.

In a statement released by Gorillaz' North America Instagram page, he said: "new GORILLAZ is special, really f***in special. Can't be rushed. 2017, yo."

Sad faces all around.

Today though, Gorillaz are removing their music videos off YouTube.

Only to then upload them all in glorious HD.

Just look at how nice and crisp 'Clint Eastwood' looks now.

And '19-2000.'

An eagle-eyed Reddit user was quick to make the discovery yesterday after sharing the clip for 'Feel Good inc'.

Unsurprisingly, a few of the vids have amassed upwards of four million views in just over a day.

You can visit their YouTube page to view all of them here.

As of right now they have only remastered three of them but maybe we can expect more over time?

Also, does anyone remember all the hugely interactive websites the group launched every time they were promoting a new record? Hopefully we will be treated to another one next year.
