Kim Kardashian West is no stranger to facing a bit of criticism, but her latest bout of it has come from an unlikely source - Jon Bon Jovi.

The rock star has blasted the reality star saying the only reason she's famous is because of her 2003 sex tape.

He told The Sunday Project: "What's gonna be in your autobiography? 'I made a porno and guess what, I got famous.' F**k, sorry, I'll pass. Go and write a book, paint a painting, act, study, sing, play, write."

The Bon Jovi lead singer spoke about the Kardashian in an interview with The Sunday Project in Australia - when talking about pop culture and TV the star did not hold back on who he wasn't keen on and one of the celebs happened to be Kim K.

He said: "I think it's horrific that we live in that world and I can tell you I've never given 60 seconds of my life, ever, to one of those Housewives of Blah Blah and Kardashians. I don't know their names, I've never watched 60 seconds of the show, it's not for me."

To be fair, he didn't just get in a jibe at the Keeping Up With The Kardashian's star, during the interview he also spoke about his previous issues with his bandmate, Richie Sambora, in which he attempted to clear the air.

He said: "The truth of the truth is he didn't come to a show. And then he never came to see us in five years. There was no falling out."

He also referenced Sambora's 'habits' contributing to the performers departure from the group back in 2013.

"His habits got in the way of him coming to work," he said. "And he just didn't show up."

Bon Jovi recently announced the news the group would be heading on tour in 2019 - this will be the band's first UK tour in six years, the upcoming tour will see them play stadium shows in a number of cities.

In a statement, frontmanJons aid: "Those huge shows, tens of thousands of people all together as one, that's what we do. And we've got a few things to put right by playing Wembley Stadium. We were so excited to be the first band to play that new Stadium, I would have helped build it myself to make it happen.

"So we have a new history to write there. We've had some great nights at the Ricoh too.'"
