We all know that Paul Rudd is an ageless enigma, who seems to look exactly the same every time we see him despite the fact he's been in the acting game since the early 90s.

But in a recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, we finally saw a slightly different side to the Ant-Man actor.

No, he STILL didn't look any older, but he did look very unlike the Paul Rudd we know and love... thanks to a pretty solid 80s wig.

Rudd and host Jimmy Fallon decided to recreate the music video for British band Dead or Alive's 1985 hit 'You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)', and frankly it's perfect.

Imitating the video of the iconic track shot-by-shot, the duo nailed it with the big hair, the eye patch and, above all else, those moves.

One person commented on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon YouTube upload of the song, saying: "I didn't know I needed this! But now that I've seen it I can't live without! LOL Paul Rudd is a National Treasure."

Someone else wrote: "I feel Paul Rudd is underrated... He's such a funny guy & seems so genuine!"

Another person said: "Paul Rudd is THE BEST and the remake of the video is AMAZING. I absolutely LOVE it."

A fourth added: "OMG they killed it! Laughed so hard! It's an exact copy of the video and the vocals are so spot on!"

Naturally, it also didn't take long for conversation to hone in on the topic of Marvel's Avengers franchise, in which Rudd plays Ant-Man.

"This should've been the Avengers: Endgame after credits scene," one person commented, referencing the fact that the latest film in the series is the first not to feature one of the MCU's beloved post-credits scenes.

Others took the opportunity to bring up a slightly leftfield fan theory, which involves Ant-Man saving the Avengers gang by crawling up into Thanos' arsehole, with someone writing: "After exploding Thanos from his anus, Scott Lang [Ant-Man's secret identity] realised he needed to start a new life as an 80s pop star by travelling using the quantum realm."

I mean, I'd probably watch that spin-off.

It's not the first time Rudd and Fallon have teamed up to recreate a music video, either - far from it, in fact.

They've also filmed themselves performing a perfect rendition of Styx's 1981 hit 'Too Much Time On My Hands', as well as a version of 'King Of Wishful Thinking' by Go West.

It's already a varied back catalogue. Wonder what's next for the LADs...
