Throughout the mid-to-late '90s, Oasis were a powerhouse.

Their debut album Definitely Maybe, and thundercunt follow up (What's the Story) Morning Glory? blew away audiences in 1994 and 1995, respectively.

The rollercoaster that was Oasis, led by Noel and Liam Gallagher, came to an end at V Festival in 2009, when the two brothers had an argument which would prove to be their last as band-mates.

Immediately, younger brother Liam took Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock (the other remaining members of Oasis) and created Beady Eye. Noel waited a bit longer before embarking on a solo career with his High Flying Birds.

Now, two High Flying Birds albums, a Beady Eye split and an announcement for Liam's solo career later, the documentary Supersonic, named after their debut single, a film documenting the band's rise to mega stardom and journey to their gigs at Knebworth, is about to drop.

In the trailer, we can hear the Gallagher brothers discussing the highs and the lows of being in the band, along with never before seen clips of the group.

Liam sums up the early years, saying: "Oasis was like a Ferrari. Good to look at, good to drive, and it'd fucking spin out of control now and again."

Mat Whitecross, the director of the documentary, which is due to be released next month, has said that an Oasis reunion 'will happen'.

Both Liam and Noel have made their feelings clear on the matter in the past, saying that it'll only happen if it's right, but it more than likely won't.

"It will happen, I'm sure. The idea of never seeing them again for me is impossible," Mat said. "Noel said everyone is always coming up to them, giving them advice about how they are going to mend this relationship."

"Noel said unless it was an obscene amount of money, what would be the point in any of them getting back together? Liam is like 'No, fuck it we, were great.'

"They should go out and give it a go. I feel people out there want it so I hope they get it."

From the outside it does look as if any hope of the brothers getting back together on stage is slim, but stranger things have happened.

Maybe watching this will drive them back to doing what made them what they are today? It'd be fucking mega.
