Well, it's been a hectic day for Marvel fans as the trailer for the latest part of the Avengers series, Avengers: Endgame, was finally released.
Fans of the Marvel series had been waiting patiently for this moment for months - basically since the moment the credits on the last film, Avengers: Infinity War, finished.

But even the most knowledgeable fans have been left scratching their heads about one thing - what happened to Shuri? Is she alive? Is she just missing? Or is she - heaven forbid - dead?
In the two minute trailer, audiences only get just a very brief glimpse of Black Panther's sister, as Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk) looks pensively at a board with photographs of Avengers who went missing after Thanos' snap wiped out 50 percent of all living creatures.
Shuri's photograph appears next to Scott Lang (Ant-Man) who disappeared, and Peter Parker (Spider-Man), who was killed in the last film.
But what happened to her?

Audiences last saw Shuri when she was knocked aside by Corvus Glaive after Thanos invaded Wakanda to steal the Vision's Mind Stone, but this scene suggests she was dusted in the Thanos snap.
However, not everyone thinks this means she was killed. Some fans think Shuri could have a big role to play, because in the last film the tech whizz might have extracted the mind stone from Vision before Thanos took it. The stone Thanos took was a synthetic copy, made by Shuri.
Could she in fact be the hero that comes and saves the day?
If Angela Bassett, who plays Ramonda - Shuri's mum - is to be believed then there could be some truth in this theory, yet.
In an interview from earlier this year the actress told Screen Rant that both Ramonda and Shuri survived the snap.

When asked if her character died, Bassett said: "No. Neither did my daughter. Shuri, she's a bright girl there in Wakanda."
So we don't really know what happened to her and the trailer doesn't really shed much light on it either; the only thing we know is that she's not definitely dead.
Not everything in the trailer was so ambiguous however - we find out that that Paul Rudd's character Ant-Man managed to survive Thanos's attempt to wipe out half of the universe's population - he pops up at the end, so it looks like he's back to team up once again with the gang, despite being trapped in the Quantum Realm at the end of Ant-Man And The Wasp.

Tony Stark's fate however hangs in the balance, as we see him floating through space, with oxygen running dangerously low, and no sign of being rescued - he seems doomed.
Let's hope he's not, eh.
