There's all kinds of weird and wonderful content on YouTube - some of it is informative, other bits are funny, while most of it is just downright strange.
But you'd probably be a little surprised to find out that YouTube's most disliked video is now one that actually comes from YouTube itself.

After the YouTube Rewind 2018 video dropped, the BBC reports, it rapidly became the video-sharing website's most disliked clip - and it achieved this feat in just SIX DAYS. Ouch.

Even though there are A LOT of names in the video, many people were left reeling from the absence of PewDiePie ("We want PewDiePie, IT'S THAT SIMPLE!", "No Pewd??!" etc.), while others simply commented to say they didn't recognise any of the so-called stars.
"I recognised like only 5-6 people," one person wrote.

"Who the HELL are these people?!?" another asked.
"This video is absolute trash, I recognise barely any creators," a third said.
"But where are the YouTubers?" someone else joked.
Many other people just straight-up hated the video itself, referring it to the 'visual definition of cringe' and 'out of touch' with YouTube's audience - criticising it for ignoring the most significant web-culture events of the last year and some of the site's top performers (Logan Paul, PewDiePie and co).

One person said: "I will never have those eight minutes and 13 seconds back."
Another wrote: "If there's one thing that will bring people together, it's hating this video."
Someone else said they were impressed YouTube managed to 'make it worse every year', while YouTuber Marques Brownlee said Rewind has 'turned into a giant ad for YouTube'.
Ooooof. Don't hold back, guys...
