What Is Noel Gallagher's Salary? How Much Does He Earn?

Noel Gallagher will be performing at Glastonbury Festival 2022, but what does he earn?

Noel Gallagher is possibly one of the most famous musicians to come out of the UK.

The 55 year old was the mastermind behind the legendary band Oasis, taking the role of lead songwriter and guitarist.

Oasis are possibly one of most iconic British bands of all time, releasing all time classics such as ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.

With Noel and his younger brother Liam as the face of the rock and roll group. They were accompanied by Guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, Bassist Paul ‘Guigsy’ Mcguigan, and drummers Tony Mcarrol, Alan White, and Ringo Starr’s son Zak Starkey.

However, since the two brothers fell out and the band broke up back in 2009, Noel has continued to have a blossoming career. Forming Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds in 2010, the Manchester musician has produced a copious amount of hit records post Oasis.

So, with such a glittering career how much is the rock and roll icon earning?

What Is Noel Gallagher's Salary? How Much Does He Earn?

According to Celebrity Net Worth Noel has accumulated an impressive net worth of $70 million (£57million).

However, Noel’s net worth doesn’t tell the whole story, as it doesn’t show us if he’s still bringing in cash, or is he just living off what he earned in the peak Oasis days.

Oasis’ rapid rise to fame after their first album, means that since 1994 Noel has been earning an enormous amount, as he continues to profit from the band.

For example, you just have to look at the undying banger ‘Wonderwall’. With almost 1.5 billion streams on Spotify, Rolling Stone estimated that in 2020 “Wonderwall” was generating about $2,650 in recorded-music royalties on Spotify every 24 hours, or $1 million a year.

Furthermore, because Noel was song-writer for the legendary brit-pop band, he claims almost all the royalties.

When asked about Liam playing Oasis songs at his live performances Noel told MOJO magazine, “When he's headlining Finsbury Park, I'm sitting here watching Match of the Day getting a PRS cheque for him playing my songs.”

However, despite Noel's tongue and cheek, he isn’t just sitting around claiming Oasis royalties, as he still plays his music all over the world.

For example his performance at Glastonbury at the moment is sure to come with a hefty paycheck.
