It looks like we're another step closer to getting one of the biggest nights in boxing. According to Tyson Fury, Wembley Stadium has already been booked in April 2018 - ready for his match against Anthony Joshua.

The fight has been on the cards for a long time. As soon as AJ beat Wladimir Klitschko a couple of weeks ago, he called out Fury in the ring. The Gypsy King soon responded himself on social media and then told the BBC last week he wants to rid boxing of Anthony Joshua, who he called a 'fraud'.

Fury reckons that AJ's promoter, Eddie Hearn, has already booked Wembley for April next year - which will see Joshua and Fury go toe-to-toe in front of 90,000 people (plus the millions all over the world).

Chances are that Joshua could be fighting before then, in October, for the Klitschko rematch - an option both fighters want to happen, but just six months later this epic could take place.

Speaking to the Telegraph, Fury said: "Eddie Hearn has already booked Wembley Stadium for next April. There isn't another stadium where it should take place.

"I would fight Joshua in October, but I believe Klitschko will take the rematch... Deep down, I don't think they want to fight me yet. Joshua struggled with Klitschko.

AJ beat the 41-year-old Ukrainian after 11 rounds in April, with the British boxer floored in the sixth. However, the 27-year-old dusted himself down to maintain his 100 per cent record of 19 wins from 19 fights.

Fury, 28, also has a perfect record, winning all 25 of his professional fights - but was quick to make fun of the hard work Joshua made of his latest fight.

"And I took Klitschko to school, toyed with him, put my hands behind my back, literally, while he was letting his cannon go, slipping out the way of them," said Fury.

"They are not ready for that. A lot of people have picked AJ to beat me, but I've said many times that we are in a sport called 'the sweet science' and it's not a bodybuilding contest or a strongman competition.

"Joshua is an easy fight for me," he added.

Fury has often poked fun at the size of Anthony Joshua, whose ripped physique represents that more of a weightlifter than a boxer.

Eddie Hearn told boxing news that a rematch is priority: "It's one of the best fights I've seen, everyone wants to see it again.

"It's the biggest fight out there for Josh, other than the Fury fight, and I think he wins, so why not? That's the fight we'd like next."

To be fair, if the rematch is anything like the original fight, which had a bit of everything, it certainly will be another to live long in the memory.
