In the early hours of tomorrow morning for us in the U.K McGregor takes on Nate Diaz two weight divisions up from the last time we saw The Notorious, when he fought Jose Aldo for the featherweight title.

And tonight at UFC 196 McGregor will become the first man to earn $1 million in a UFC ring just for turning up. That amount will rocket once you add on his share of pay-per-view sales.
Diaz will earn half of what his opponent will be picking up just for stepping in the ring as a very late replacement for lightweight world champion Rafael dos Anjos who was originally supposed to be McGregor's opponent before he broke his foot in training.
Breaking the record for the most money made in a UFC fight is just another step in the incredible story that is McGregor.
