Pittsburgh Steelers Star Attends Prom With Teen Because 'Why Not'

Famous people doing good things for others is one of the best things to see, isn't it? Don't ask us why, but it's just good to realise that not everyone turns into a first class *inserts expletive* when they get a few million followers and/or pounds.

Take Pittsburgh Steelers player, JuJu Smith-Schuster for example. He's got an impressive 2.6 million Instagram followers, God only knows how much cash in the bank and yet he still found the time to go to prom with one of his fans.

The 22-year-old received a DM from Pennsylvania high school student, Anthony Molinaro, who invited him to the event at Chartiers Valley High School - albeit probably not expecting the star to accept.

Describing his situation on JuJu's YouTube channel, Anthony said: "One of my close friends asked a girl I was going to ask and it left me with no one to go with. I asked JuJu and luckily he responded and said yeah."

Smith-Schuster took to Instagram, writing: "Prom w/ my bro @anthony_m099! Got a DM from him a while back about needing someone to go with, decided why not, had a litty night at his school!" What a LAD.

The pair wore matching green Saint Laurent suits with bow ties. JuJu said: "We spent about $10k total on our outfits, about $2k on out shoes and it's going to be a lit prom."

After posing for pictures with all of Anthony's family, the pair travelled on the coach together with the young fan's fellow peers.

People have now applauded JuJu for being a 'local hero', with one saying: "We Need more JuJu's in the WORLD!"

Another added: "My dude!!! You gotta be the coolest player I've seen these days. Down to earth and a gamer! Keep doing you. Keep enjoying this life ya earned".

A third commented: "@TeamJuJu your personality, your smile and your energy is infectious. I just love everything about you. #TeamJuJu"
