World Cup: England Striker Jamie Vardy Trying To Impersonate A Cowboy Is The Funniest Thing You’ll See Today

It’s all part of a TV sketch in which Vardy, Kyle Walker, Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Jesse Lingard and Eric Dier want USA support

Jamie Vardy, Leicester City striker, England international, Premier League winner... and KING OF BANTER.

The professional footballer is currently in Russia with his country for the World Cup, where England beat Tunisia in their first game on Monday.

However, more important than that is the comedy cringe Vardy has served up around the finals in a skit with everyone's favourite bandwagon jumper, James Corden.

In a scene which jokingly sees England players Kyle Walker, Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Jesse Lingard and Eric Dier attempt to drum up support from the USA, Mr 'Chat Shit Get Banged' serves us with the funniest cowboy impression this side of the Atlantic.

Don't believe us? Have a look at the video - 3.26 is where it gets down to business...

Told you so. It's a bit like your mate at school has come dressed as Woody from Toy Story for a fancy-dress party but went to Poundland for the costume.

And what is that accent? It's the worst attempt since former England boss and umbrella enthusiast Steve McClaren decided to go Dutch when in charge of FC Twente.

As funny and obviously tongue-in-cheek as it is, let's not forget Vardy doesn't exactly have a squeaky-clean background. He was involved in run-ins with the police when he was younger and an assault.

But his form as a footballer ensures he remains popular with fans and earned his place in manager Gareth Southgate's squad.

Vardy scored 20 Premier League goals for Leicester last season, with England captain and Tottenham Hotspur star Kane (30) as the only Englishman to have netted more in the campaign.

But back to the real reason you're here - the clip of the England players cracking out their Grade A bantz.

PA

It's all part of an appearance on Corden's American chat show / vehicle - The Late Late Show.

Among the other highlights / casual stereotyping for LOLs are Alli dressing up as the Statue of Liberty, Walker struggling to say 'soccer' and Lingard's head-scratching with US geography.

Next up for England is their World Cup match against Panama on Sunday. Next up for Corden is Carpool Karaoke with Sir Paul McCartney (Yeah, you do the maths).

And did you know he was once in Hollyoaks? Corden, that is, not Sir Paul - although that would be worth a watch. It's true, ask Google.

Anyway, COME ON ENGLAND!!!! IT'S COMING HOME!!!! ETC.
