Millie Bobby Brown says she’s finally ready to move on from Stranger Things

Millie Bobby Brown says she’s finally ready to move on from Stranger Things

The curtain call is coming for the teenager and she's not upset about it.

After seven years, it appears Millie Bobby Brown is ready to say goodbye to Eleven.

The British actor has been playing the supernatural character based in Hawkins, Indiana for more than half a decade and the end is on the horizon.

The final season of Stranger Things is edging closer with each day and it seems like Brown isn't afraid of the hit series having its curtain call.

“I think I’m ready," she told Women's Wear Daily. "It’s been such a huge factor in part of my life, but it’s like graduating high school, it’s like senior year.

"You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life.”

Millie was only 11 years old when she became a household name thanks to The Duffer Brothers' show.

She's since gone on to star in the Enola Holmes film series as well as two Godzilla movies.

But due to the ongoing actors and writers strike in Hollywood at the moment, it's unclear when we will get to feast our eyes and ears on the fifth and final season of Stranger Things.

The fourth instalment debuted in the middle of 2022 in two parts, so, naturally, fans are begging for the last chapter.

But The Duffer Brothers wrote on Twitter earlier this year when the strike broke out: "Writing does not stop when filming begins.

"While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work.

"Until then — over and out."

While people participating in the strike aren't meant to talk about past, present or future projects, The Duffer Brothers did give a tiny insight into what we can expect from the show's last few episodes.

Ross Duffer told Variety: "Will [Byers] (played by Noah Schnapp) really takes center stage again in [season] 5.

"This emotional arc for him is what we feel is going to hopefully tie the whole series together.

"Will is used to being the young one, the introverted one, the one that’s being protected.

"So part of his journey, it’s not just sexuality — it’s Will coming into his own as a young man.”

There's no release date for the final season, so we'll have to sit and wait for that one.
