Viewers are desperate for a second season of Netflix show that cracked the top 10

Viewers are desperate for a second season of Netflix show that cracked the top 10

My Life With The Walter Boys has taken the world by storm.

Viewers are demanding that a popular Netflix show be renewed for a second season.

Fans of My Life With The Walter Boys have taken to social media, calling for another instalment after the series ended on a cliffhanger.

The show has taken the world by storm and reached the top 10 in 91 countries from December 4 to 10 - including number five in the UK and the number one top in the US.

The show garnered nine million views within a week, overtaking Netflix’s Obliterated, which earned 7.5 million views.

Following the series’ release, one fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and wrote: “If we don’t get a season two of My Life With The Walter Boys I’m burning this place to the GROUND.”

Another said: “My Life With The Walter Boys is the worst thing I’ve ever watched, but also I need season two by tomorrow.”

A third commented: “Nah, why why why why why why. I need season two of My Life With The Walter Boys NOW.”

While another shared: “I need Netflix to come out with a season two already for My Life With The Walter Boys…. yes I know it just came out.”

The show follows Jackie (played by Nikki Rodgriduez), who is forced to move to Silver Falls, Colorado, after losing her entire family in a tragic accident in New York City.

As she tries to start over in the small town, she becomes entangled with the two Walter boys, former football star (Ashby Gentry) and resident bad boy Cole (Noah LaLonde).

Given the show has just been released, Netflix is likely waiting to see how it performs before renewing it.

But the streaming giant does have a reputation for axing shows despite their popularity and critical acclaim.

Earlier this year, Netflix announced that Young Wallander would not return for another season.

It came after Netflix also cancelled fan favourites, including Warrior Nun, Glamorous, Fate: The Winx Saga and 1899.
