Katie Price Gives Her Mansion A Makeover After TV Viewers Call It A ‘S**thole’

Nobody's house is perfect - some of them are cold, some of them are too cluttered, some of them shake whenever the 98 bus goes past.

It turns out that no matter how high up the housing ladder you go, the problems remain the same - Katie Price lives in a Grade II listed mansion, but according to the viewers of Keith Lemon's ITV show Through the Keyhole she still lives like a slob.

Her house was featured on the show four weeks ago and apparently viewers were repulsed by the piles of dirty clothes (in a wardrobe, no less), horse poo in the driveway (she owns horses, they poo - no surprises here), and - worst of all - a plastic bottle on the floor.

Now, we don't know where these people live, but we can only assume most of their time bust be taken up by the standards of cleanliness that they clearly hold their houses to.

Price has defended her house though, saying that when the cameras arrived she was weeks away from a planned renovation and the TV company refused to give her more time to complete the work on her house.

She said: "I said to them to give me two more weeks as we are having it renovated... It will look completely different, but you guys didn't want to wait... So now we can redo it [the show]."

"I didn't even clear up, I just said let them film it out here. You get used to it [the horse poo] - it's a farm - it's smelly."

Fair play to her, she has had the work done and shared pictures of it with her social media followers. As you might imagine, it's all been completed in her own unique style - that means lots of silver, pink, and velvet.

Her son Jett also now has a LEGO themed room, which is actually cool.

The reality TV star even invited her instagram followers in to watch her get stuck in to some of the work herself. Yes, that's right - you could literally watch paint dry at Katie Price's house as she live streamed herself painting the wooden floors.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, you are probably the same kind of person that complains when houses they see on telly don't meet their standards of cleanliness.
