Harry Redknapp has won I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

The legendary football manager has been crowned the king of the jungle after viewers chose him ahead of actress Emily Atack - who came second - and entertainer and presenter, John Barrowman - who finished third - as their winner in tonight's final.

Speaking to Holly and Dec, Harry said: "It was tougher than I expected, really tough, nobody gives you anything. I've made so many good friends, it's been a really good experience.

"It's taught me how to laugh again."

He said on winning: "They're (the camp mates) the most lovely people I've ever met, there's not one person I've got a single bad word about. Without them I would never have survived.

"When I've been flagging they've been pushing me."

It wasn't exactly a shocking end to the hit reality television show, as bookies had long had the ex-Tottenham Hotspur boss as the favourite to win the series, after viewers were unanimous in their love for the 71-year-old who has melted many a heart during his time in Oz.

Fans have enjoyed his funny anecdotes, his banter with his fellow camp mates, as well as his close relationship with jam roly poly pudding, which had audiences in fits of laughter.

But most of all they have been touched by his adoration for his wife of 51 years, Sandra who he met in a nightclub in the East End called 'Two Puddings' - seriously.

The football manager has been a hit with the nation since he landed in the jungle.

He said: "Very difficult, it wasn't easy (without his wife)."

And he played up to his 'wheeler dealer' persona when he revealed that when he quits the jungle he would love to land a role as a gangster in a movie, or play a baddie in BBC soap opera, EastEnders.

Joking with DIY SOS presenter, Nick Knowles, he said: "I could be a slasher! Slasher Redknapp.

"Jimmy, he's taken a right liberty with me. Sort him out. You know where he is. Trim him up, give him a couple of slices."

'Slasher' went on: "Tell him if he does it again it will be the last time."

He has been a certified hit and both audiences and camp mates alike - during Barrowman's final interview he even said he wanted Harry to win - who have loved every minute of watching and being with him.

Vamps singer, James McVey even gave Harry some of his food when he saw that he was struggling to cope with the rations. What a guy.

Congrats, 'arry!
