Girl, 4, Throws Dad's Phone Overboard Because He Was Using It Too Much

You hear it all the time these days - social media is taking over, no one puts their phone down or, even worse, someone walks smack bang in to you in the middle of the street.

I can probably speak for most when I say that many of us have been on both ends of these situations.

But when it comes to having a bit of attention, there's nothing worse than sitting with someone who's so engrossed in their mobile and they can't tear their eyes away from that little bit of technology.

That was something Russian rapper Timati's daughter wasn't having a single second more of.

The four-year-old girl was fuming with her dad as he was speaking on the device while relaxing on a yacht in Saint-Tropez, on the French Riviera, instead of giving her any attention.

Little Alisa had had enough when she suddenly grabbed the phone, turned around and launched it overboard. Oops.

Well if nothing else that'll teach him.

The tattooed rapper looked at his daughter in shock before jumping up to see his phone has disappeared under the water. Don't know where he thought it might have gone like.

And the mischievous little girl simply looked at her dad and smiled like butter wouldn't melt.

The video has gone viral online, notching up nearly 5.7 million views, after Timati shared it with his 12.3 million followers on Instagram.

Some viewers blamed the little girl's parents for not bringing her up to be more respectful - while others thought the clip had been staged.

One said: "This child is out of order. Timati is the one to blame for her bringing her up this way. Let him now enjoy the results."

Another added: "What a hysterical monster."

But someone else argued: "Seriously, why the cheap staged video?!" There's always one person who has to call everythingout isn't there?

And it looks like sassy Alisa finally got her own way as she can be seen holding her old man's hand staring into the distance. Finally some father-daughter bonding for the tot, that is what she wanted after all.

And it's certainly a lesson learned for Timati. Any other phone-obsessed parents out there - beware, don't say we didn't warn you.
