There are certain students who think just because they're at university they're a bit of a know-it-all. And by 'certain students' I mean 80 percent of them.
Whatever their field of study, they seem to think that they're already an expert in it, with this second year grad student from Miami University being a good example.
In a throwback clip, appearing on The People's Court, a show in the same vain as Judge Rinder and Judge Judy, the student is in a fiery case during which he is the defendant.

He opposes Judge Milian who tells him he's 'dead wrong' in his responses, before he says: "That's your opinion."
Now, when it comes to the law, there's quite an obvious line between opinion and fact, which as a student of the field he should probably know about.
Milian takes a lot of offence to this, and so she goes on a rant that can only be compared to a fire-breathing dragon raging rampage on a small village.

"No, that's my ruling, pal. And let me tell you something, 'Mr University of Miami Law School', I taught at UM for many, many years, and you right now are embarrassing us," she began.
"You do not show that sort of disrespect, okay? If you don't like what the judge is doing then you take it to the next forum, but you do not stand here and say 'that's your opinion' like a baby, when a judge rules against you. Don't even utter another word.
"You've got a lot to learn about what it means to be a litigator and a lawyer."

She continued to make his face turn as red as his hair, pointing out how much of a baby he is, outlining his petulance. She even does a classic playground tactic of imitating him with a high pitched voice and a head wobble, something guaranteed to give you a one up, regardless of if you're winning the argument or not.
After he tried to interject saying he didn't want to be a lawyer or a litigator, Milian quickly fires back that it's a good thing, simply because he 'hasn't got what it takes'.

She continued: "If there's nothing you have learned in the last two years as a law student, then there's something you should have learned as a human growing up - that you do not show that kind of disrespect.
"I don't care what you think about me, you've got to respect this process. And if there's anybody who I expect to respect this process it's a second year law student at the University of Miami."

She then slams her gavel and says: "Verdict for the plaintiff, $450 dollars and court costs," has her mic drop moment and leaves.
If you listen closely there's an 'oooooh' in the background which is perfectly timed to coincide with the student's miserable face being shown on the screen.
Unlucky, pal.
