John Travolta Pictured Looking Really Creepy For His Latest Film 'Moose'

He is playing a stalker, though, so maybe it's a good thing.

John Travolta has been spotting rocking a daring new look on the set of his latest film, Moose.

Gone is his usual suave style and sharp hair, in its place are a badly cut mullet/bowl cut effort, a Hawaiian shirt and some board shorts.

To be fair to him, he is supposed to be playing a stalker in the film - inspired by real life events in the life of Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst - so it's probably for the best if this new look makes him seem creepy as hell.

The 64-year-old star of Pulp Fiction and Grease was spotted rocking the look whilst filming a scene on Hollywood Boulevard. He then changed into a slightly less terrifying suit to act in another scene.

The film looks like it might get pretty dark too - a shot on Instagram revealed Travolta covered in blood and with what looks like an eye missing (or seriously wounded, at least).

Durst, whose early career the film is based upon, is directing the film. Durst is thought to have taken inspiration from a stalker that followed him around during the early days of his band.

According to Variety, the plot of the film sees Travolta playing Moose, a man who becomes so fixated on a celebrity (in the film, an action hero rather than a nu-metal musician) that he starts to plot ways to ruin his life.

In a recent interview with TMZ, Travolta spoke about how much he has enjoyed his time working with the Limp Bizkit frontman, who has directed two other feature films before this one.

Travolta said: "He's so generous, and such an artist and he allowed me to create a character that no one else would allow.

"I mean, it's really a wild character and I felt very free to do that.

"I had great ideas and he had already edited this film in his imagination, so he knows how he's going to put it together, so he knew how to let me free within a boundary."

He also described the film as having been "maybe my favourite experience I've had."

That's high praise indeed, given that Travolta has worked with some of the very best in the business. With the veteran actor having worked with directors like Quentin Tarantino for Pulp Fiction and Oliver Stone for Savages, it seems as if Durst must know what he is talking about on set.

Could this be the beginning of a bright new career for Durst and his backwards red baseball cap? Looks like we could be waiting a while for the next Limp Bizkit comeback.
