Jake Paul speaks out after ‘full on’ brawl breaks out at Nate Diaz press conference

The fight erupted at a press conference

It can often be tense in the run up to a boxing match, but the upcoming Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz fight has already seen punches thrown.

At a weigh in or presser conference for a boxing match you might expect a few hard stares. Maybe even a bit of jostling if the stakes are high as both fighters try to prove their superiority.

However, a press conference for the upcoming fight between YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul and Nate Diaz took things to another level. The conference descended into a full on brawl involving both fighters' security.

The big fight is set to kick off at the American Airlines Center on Saturday but it seemed that the tensions were so high that things simply couldn't wait to get started.

Now in the aftermath of the fight, which saw punches thrown, Paul has posted online.

He wrote: "All out warfare, eye for eye. You threatened MVPs co-founder who has been a partner to you and your team every step of the way?

"He’s put your best friend on over and over again. Stupid. Then your team wants to swing on us…so you got served a three piece and a biscuit. Punk. It’s time for goodnight."

The pair had been exchanging verbal jabs back and forth in the press conference, with comments becoming increasingly heated and even descending into homophobic slurs.

However, things came to a head after what appeared to be an exchange of words between Paul's manager Nakisa Bidarian and Diaz. This apparently saw things escalate after Paul's security intervened.

Fortunately the scuffle itself did not last very long.

Neither boxer appeared to get directly involved in the fight. They will face off against each other in their big match on Saturday, and emotions are high after the exchange at the press conference.

Paul initially posted that Nate's team had tried to claim assault after the incident. However, he claimed that one of Nate's team had 'swung first' in the incident.

He added by claiming that one of Nate's team is in hospital for stitches after the fight.

The YouTuber posted: "Nate’s team has emailed my team trying to claim assault after his team swung first.

"Apparently the guy who swung first is at the hospital getting stitches. Hilarious these fake gangsters acting like this!"

The pair will meet in the ring on Saturday, with fans more hyped than ever to see them meet.
