If only they would make a movie together.

Ryan Reynolds plays arguably one of the most loveable superheroes: Deadpool. He's not perfect and certainly lets people know about it, but he also hilariously trolls himself and other superheroes both on and off screen.

His latest dig is at your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.

The tweet reads: "Thank you #VPD. And the great people of Vancouver for putting up with road closures and traffic delays as we film Spider-Man downtown."

Eagle-eyed fans have even spotted Reynolds pulling the wrist flick that allows Spidey to shoot out his web.

Social media has been sent into a tailspin, with fans hoping that they will finally see two red-suited superheroes in their own movie.

It's nice to see Reynolds paying tribute to the hard-working people who help a massive film production like Deadpool. When these blockbusters take to the streets it can be a bit of a headache for authorities to keep the public at bay. But it's hilarious that he's tried to push the blame onto the young Spider-Man and let him cop the criticism, especially because passers by unfamiliar with Deadpool would probably guess it was Spidey from the red suit.

The sequel to the highly acclaimed Marvel movie will debut on June 1, 2018, and there have only been a few teasers so far.

Zazie Beetz is playing the character of Domino while Josh Brolin will star as the film's villain: Cable.

We all can't wait to see if it's funnier than the original.
