Never Forget That Ali G Interview, Donald Trump

Ali G is a man who has rubbed shoulders with some of the best of them.

The gang member of the West Staines Massif's short-lived chat show, Da Ali G Show, was lapped up as he interviewed the likes of David Beckham, and, more interestingly, president-elect Donald Trump.

In those days, Trump was purely a businessman, and not anywhere near the world of politics. Ali wanted to seize the opportunity by pitching his 'ice-cream gloves'.

"He claims he saw through the interview," Sasha Baron Cohen told James Corden on the Late Late Show recently. "But actually he was there for about seven minutes.

"That's quite a long time for an Ali G interview. I was the first person actually to realise that he's a dick."

That is what they call TV gold.
