Tennis Players Interrupted By Couple Having Sex React After Match

One of the most awkward moments in tennis.

Two tennis players and a bunch of spectators couldn't believe their ears during the Sarasota Open in Florida.

As Frances Tiafoe and Mitchell Kreuger were going head to head, they had to stop because they could hear people having sex.

Commentator Mike Cation was broadcasting when it unfolded and he initially thought someone was watching porn.

Cation said, quite eloquently: "Well, that is the most bizarre situation. I don't know how to put this, folks. Someone's phone went off in the stands...and it was an adult video."

Tiafoe tried to keep playing but eventually paused for a moment to shout: "It can't be that good."

Following the match, he tweeted:

While his opponent Mitchell asked:

Commentator Mike Cation has told Deadspin, in the most articulate way I've heard: "After the first three moans, it was clear that it was copulation, being enjoyed vigorously.

"I take a lot of pride in making sure we tell the stories of our USTA events and players in a way that respects their hard work. So you don't want to disrupt that at all. But then, when the players are paused, the crowd can't contain themselves, you just have to explain what's happening. It's the basic part of a play-by-play job. Describe what's happening. So, I tried."

Well, if you thought it would be tough maintaining focus and composure during that tennis match, imagine the guys over in the Netherlands who had to count votes for the Dutch election while lesbian porn was playing on a screen behind them.

It's believed a local football club was behind the prank and apparently set up the projector inside their hall's canteen, hoping to give the vote counters a good laugh.

According to the Sun, a spokesman for the mayor's office said: "This was no Photoshop. Of course this does not deserve any praise and should never have happened."

"They have sworn to us it will never happen again."

Luckily, according to officials, the incident didn't compromise the vote count.
