Piers Morgan Can't Hide His Amusement At Twins Who Do Everything In Sync

Piers Morgan Can't Hide His Amusement At Twins Who Do Everything In Sync

It is quite funny, to be fair.

Before we go any further, let's address something: how weird are twins?

I don't mean that the people are weird, I just mean that the concept of two identical people, who are effectively the same person, is just weird. Like, have you ever had someone walk past you, only for their twin to walk past 30 seconds later? It's trippy, man, like, I just saw you.

But anyway, that's why I can (for once) empaphise with Piers Morgan being unable to contain his amusement at two Australian twins who do everything in unison.

Bridgette and Paula Powers have been dressing the same and been talking in sync for 40 years, and even consider themselves as the same person.

The pair appeared on ITV to talk to Piers and co-host Susannah Reid to discuss their relationship.

They believe their synchronisation just happens, saying: "It happens automatically - we don't know how it happens.

"Some people say 'do you rehearse a conversation' but how can you rehearse a conversation?

"It's stupid.

"We never get sick of one another or anything. We are best mates, best friends and we love one another."

Because they never get sick of each other, they admitted that there's no room for men in their lives.

Morgan took a break from acrimoniously talking out of his arsehole about Arsenal on Twitter, and instead fell into hysterics while interviewing the twins, saying it was the 'one of the greatest interviews' he'd ever conducted.

As funny as it is, it's also quite freaky. Do they both declare that they need a shit simultaneously in that robotic tone? 'I really need to pinch one off, let's go'.

And what about at family meals? I don't think there's every been a dual 'Barbara, I dislike your sprouts' at a dinner table.

Across social media, people were quick to call out the twins, saying it was obviously rehearsed.

Piers asked Susannah Reid if they could start talking in unison, to which Susannah responded: "It's absolutely like us.

"As soon as I open my mouth you talk over me anyway."

"This is great banter, it really is." Credit: Sky Atlantic

Next week there'll be triplets who fancy their time in the spotlight, to be honest.
