Driving Instructor Goes Savage At Angry Driver He Verbally Abused Her Student

Learning to drive as a teenager isn't exactly a walk in the park. I mean, for one, there's no walking involved. And you aren't dealing with the serene, easy-going nature of an open field, but rather noisy, harsh, blocks of streets.

On that basis, we can all sympathise with the case of one 17-year-old in Liverpool who suffered verbal abuse for making a simple mistake.

When the young woman broke too quick during a lesson, a fellow driver wound down her window and launched a expletive rant at the teen.

Luckily though, her instructor Kate Harvey, who runs Gear Up driving school, takes no shit.

"I'm used to dealing with people who sometimes get irate while I'm taking a driving lesson but I'd never experienced the level of abuse I received from this woman," Kate wrote.

"My lovely 17 year old pupil was learning left turns and turning left at junctions today.

"She was doing brilliantly. Yes, we broke a little hard at the junction you were so angry at, but then I'm sure you did too when you were first learning to drive.

"You should leave enough space between you and the vehicle in front so that you can pull up safely if it suddenly slows down or stops."

She added: "Your repeated offer of taking me out of my vehicle, as enticing as it was, wasn't going to be reciprocated as my pupil had paid for an hours lesson and I had to crack on, which is why I told you repeatedly to kindly move on. This made you angrier and you parted with F**K OFF before flying round us. My usual parting words are goodbye or ta-ra. I don't think you heard that though."

That wasn't the end of it. Kate even joked that the woman should take up yoga to counteract her anger.

"Kirkby leisure centre do some wonderful classes including yoga, tai chi and pilates based around mindfulness and relaxation. They might be of benefit to you. You seem angry.

"It's worth noting I'm a grade 6 instructor sitting in the top 6% of instructors out there, which is why I'll ignore your shoddy advice on how to get my pupils to deal with junctions.

"Should you require any brushing up on your highway code or safe control of a vehicle when pulling out at junctions I charge £25 per hour because that badge says I can.

"Have a wonderful weekend."

Eat that.
