Harry Maguire is fast becoming one of the nation's favourite people.

From his nonplussed girlfriend meme to his history of having watched England matches with his mates, we've fallen in love with the relatively unheralded Leicester City centre-back over these last few weeks.

Of course, the most notable thing about Maguire is his mega head - the one that he used to power in a corner against Sweden and set England on course to the World Cup semi final.

Earlier in the week, he revealed that England and Leicester City teammate Jamie Vardy called him 'Slabhead' in reference to his enormous bonce - an insult that he took on his not inconsiderably sized chin.

Now, it turns out that there is a growing band of Slabheads, with Harry's brother Laurence also possessing a decently-sized dome.

"Meet Laurence Maguire, Chesterfield centre-back and brother of Harry Maguire," tweeted Saturday morning telly
japesters Soccer AM.

"Picture the scene. The year is 2022, England are flying out to Qatar with the Maguire brothers as a centre-back partnership. Corners will be like penalties."

We can but dream of a double Maguire partnership at the next World Cup, though perhaps the England backroom staff will have to invest in industrial quantities of sun cream when the Middle Eastern heat falls on their massive coupons.

Why stop at two Maguires, though? Harry and his brother have another sibling and he is a footballer as well. Joe Maguire might be playing at Boston United in the National League North - that's England's sixth tier, for those keeping score - but that's not to say that he couldn't put on a spurt and make himself undroppable by the time the plane leaves for Qatar in 2022.

Why stop at the Maguire family, too? Ashley Young's brother Lewis plays for Crawley Town and Danny Rose's brother Mitch plays for Grimsby Town and Keiran Trippier's brother Kelvin had a long-career kicking around the lower leagues.

Jesse Lingard's cousin, Gabrielle George, has already appeared for the England women's team and Ruben Loftus-Cheek's half-brother is Carl Cort, who cost Newcastle United £7 million back in the year 2000. Granted he's now 40 and has six appearances for Guyana, but we can let that slide.

The England rugby league team once played with four Burgess brothers at the same time, so it's been done before.

Over to you, Gareth. Let's make Qatar 2022 a family reunion for the ages.
