No matter your sexuality, there are very few people on this planet that can criticise the looks of Cristiano Ronaldo.
You'd think that capturing his beauty would be something you'd spend hours on - making sure every feature is perfectly modelled.
So, why does this statue look like something Art Attack would make out of a few spare loo rolls, pipe cleaners and PVA glue?
Talking of Art Attack...

And that set a running trend as the internet responded brilliantly to the news that Cristiano's statue, looked nothing like the great man himself...
The Ex-Manchester United, now Real Madrid, player is the current Ballon D'or holder and last year helped Portugal to win Euro 2016.
However, comparisons have been to the former Sunderland striker Niall Quinn whose 141 goals in 475 games are a mere scratch on Ronaldo's 279 in 258 for Madrid alone.
Ronaldo has also been liked to other great pieces of film and art... ish
The statue was unveiled at Madeira Airport, where he is seen as a local hero, modelling the rags-to-riches story.
In fact, he already has a museum about him in his hometown of Funchal.
Staying quiet on the whole statue debacle, Ronaldo simply tweeted: "Happy and honoured to have my name given to the Madeira airport."
Whereas there is a point to the Ronaldo statue, it does bring flashbacks to the Michael Jackson statue outside Fulham's Craven Cottage in 2011.

Not only did it look out of place at a football ground, there were certainly finer examples of Michael's being elsewhere.
For now, we'll get back to watching Ronaldo create some beautiful artwork on the pitch instead.
