Police Provide E-Fit Of Man - And It's Being Brilliantly Mocked

Strong look.

There's a Peter Kay sketch, from about 15 years ago, that talks about Crimewatch. In it, he talks about how the video reconstructions and e-fits are ludicrous. It would seem even today, in 2017, they've got no better.

"If you saw someone who looked like one of those video fits, they'd stick in your mind. They look like freaks, they don't look human," Kay jokes.

If you saw the latest e-fit from Lincolnshire Police, it would definitely stick in your mind.

The e-fit shows a young man with a narrowing face, and dark eyes. But it's the hair that instantly catches the eye.

The long, blonde, messy (and badly photoshopped) hair style is one that would certainly stand out in a police line-up.

Upon release of the image, social media instantly took to ripping it into Lincolnshire Police.

One user wrote: "By the power of grey skull!!! He-Man has gone rogue, shouldn't be hard to spot he will have a massive shaking tiger with him."

Another added: "Haha who has done this?!?! This cannot be a legit e-fit... I mean I'm sure I'd recognised this guy if I ever saw him again ever... in my life."

One commented: "Wow, with graphic technology of these days. He won't be hard to miss, he looks like a SIM my 5 yr old once created."

The man was likened to He-Man, 80s pop legend Chesney Hawkes and 80s DJ, Pat Sharp - yes a true era for the mullet.

On Facebook, the police stated that they are looking to match the man on the e-fit to a robbery committed at Hartsholme Park, Lincoln, on June 10.

The suspect is believed to have assaulted a woman in her 40s when she refused to hand over jewellery or a mobile phone at around 7:15pm. The victim sustained a minor injury to her cheek.

The man is described as being in his twenties, skinny build and around 5ft 6in tall.

He has blonde unkempt hair, and was wearing a grey t-shirt.

If you do know who this man is, then please call Crimestoppers (anonymously) on 0800 555111 or 101 quoting incident 405 of June 10.

While this man may be covering his tracks after the e-fit, this dog is also the master of hiding his crimes.

What an attempt to cover it up.
