Revisiting The Time A 'Come Dine With Me' Loser Called A Guest A 'Dump Truck'

'Get off my property.'

This week marks the year anniversary of one of 2016's most special television moments. And no, I'm not talking about David Dimbleby announcing the victory for Leave. I'm talking about the episode of Come Dine With Me which concluded in perhaps the most understated-yet-overstated display of sore losermanship.

For those not in the know, the Channel 4 show features groups of four strangers who each host a dinner party in turn which is then marked out of ten. The contestant who scores the highest at the end of all the meals wins £1,000 in cash.

Last year, contestant Peter thought he was on a one-way ticket to victory after slapping up a five-course meal for his guests that included a roast beef main, in his eyes, 'better than anything else I've seen this week.'

This is Peter.

Unfortunately for Peter, or arguably Nick Griffin - we can't really confirm - he lost. Not only did he lose, he came last. Following this revelation, he very calmly lost his cool, evoking the quiet menace of a Bond villain. But a Bond villain with a Michelin star to his name and a YouTube instructional food channel.

Watch as Peter turns his ire on fellow contestant, and now bitch in his view, Jane.

"You ruined my night completely just so you could have the money," he huffs.

"I hope now you will spend it on getting some lessons in grace and decorum because you have all the grace of reversing dump trunk without any tyres on!"

When Jane said she didn't 'get it' why Peter was going sick, he responded: "Well you wouldn't would you? Let's be honest, there's nobody in there, love."

If you thought it ended there, Peter then demanded that she "take [her] money and get off my property."

And they say last year was bad.
