Rick Hoffman Reveals The Reason He Looked Annoyed At The Royal Wedding

We've all had to deal with this before. If you haven't - it's you.

Weddings are great. Well, some parts of it are. The boozy parts, at least, are great. What I'm trying to say here is that no matter how much you like someone; their wedding ceremony is usually pretty dull.

That is still true even if it's the wedding that everyone is talking about.

When Harry and Meghan got married this weekend, the cameras of the world were trained on the whole event and the world was watching for any slip-ups. This is where Meghan's Suits co-star Rick Hoffman comes in.

He was spotted looking pretty unimpressed to be in St George's Chapel, Windsor for the wedding of the year. In fact, he looked downright bored and annoyed.

Is the bar open yet?

The 47-year-old, who plays sarcastic lawyer Louis Litt on Suits immediately became the subject of quite a bit of internet attention.

However, he has now defended his position and you'd have to say, it's an excuse we can all sympathise with. A person who was sat near him just had awful breath. That's enough to make anyone look angry. In fact, we should probably just be glad that he wasn't gagging and retching throughout the ceremony (although that might have livened things up a bit).

He posted an Instagram video explaining what the deal was. In the post, he said: "So to answer any questions about the weird face that was made at the wedding, imagine sitting next to people to your right - not knowing which person it was - that had halitosis.

"Um. Hence the face. That is apparently all over the place.

"It's as simple as that. Love you guys. Yah. Halitosis. Disgusting."

At the end of the post he used the hashtag #brushyourteeth and wrote "Royal Wedding face".

Rick's character in the show that made Meghan Markle famous is known for his sardonic comments and the catchphrase 'you just got Litt up'.

He did eventually crack a smile though, once he was safely out of breathing distance. He was pictured smiling on his way into the reception at Windsor Castle. Let's just hope that the seating arrangement meant that he was nowhere near the guest in question.

As for Meghan, her time on Suits is now over. She ended her career there at the end of Season 7 in April with a marriage to her on-screen boyfriend Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, who was also at the wedding and has seemed to enjoy his time in the UK quite a lot.
