Having your wisdom teeth out fucking sucks. Even if you get knocked out with anaesthetic, which is what happened to me, you're still completely out of it for a while. There are plenty of videos on YouTube which show how messed up people are after the surgery - but this one takes the cake.
Liz Hurst was in the car with her daughter Olivia, just after the 18-year-old had her wisdom teeth removed.

Olivia seems pretty convinced that she's a lizard, hell-bent on catching some flies. But as she holds two bloodied pieces of surgical gauze, she freaks out that the dentist has hacked out her tongue.
Mum, Liz, who lives in Melissa, Texas, says: "At first, she thought she was a lizard, then she believed the devil had stolen her oesophageal sphincter, which I had to Google to see it was even real. Finally, she thought she had two tongues which were also taken out.
"I couldn't get over the fact that my sweet & smart daughter, who is top three in her class, was convinced about these hilarious things. I just thought, 'That's some really strong stuff doctors give out now.'
"She carried on like this for about an hour, all the way back from the doctor's office. After a quick nap, she was back to normal."
The best bit is when she tells her mum that they need to organise a funeral for her two tongues. Watching videos of people just after surgery is pretty hilarious.
If you haven't yet had your wisdom teeth out and you need the surgery, don't worry about the pain. Worry more about the videos your friends or family will upload to social media.
