This Guy Managed To Blag Himself Ringside Seats For Mayweather-McGregor Fight

He took a chance and it paid off

A man managed to sneak his way into ringside seats and took selfies with loads of famous faces.

Oliver Regis bought a £2,000 ($2,581) ticket to the Mayweather-McGregor fight at the T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas this weekend, but decided to chance his arm and sneak past security to hang out with the VIPs.

McGregor superfan Oliver, 32, blagged that he was part of Floyd Mayweather Jr's security team and walked in with them, right past the arena's own heavies, the Sun reports.

Oliver told the paper: "I did feel a bit cheeky - but this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance. I could not believe it worked."

He managed to spot some empty seats, just in front of boxing legend Mike Tyson on the same row as LeBron James.

Oliver managed to get selfies with more than stars than the night's sky, with Amir Khan, Demi Lovato, Jamie Foxx, P Diddy, Mike Tyson and Gerard Butler all posing for snaps.

He also took a photo of himself with Mayweather's dad.

Oliver, a barman, has been to four of McGregor's last five fights and even has a massive tattoo of the Irishman on his leg. I'm guessing that even though his hero didn't win, Oliver is still pretty happy with Saturday night's events.

He told the Sun: "My friends started texting me saying they had seen me on TV. It was very surreal, but it was the biggest fight in history!"

Yeah, it certainly beats watching at home with your mates who got drunk and passed out before the fight even started, like I did.
