LAD Sends 'Super Mario' Inspired Plumbing CV To Potential Employers By Accident

Oh no.

Sending a CV off to potential employers is always a ball ache. You never know how they're going to react - they might think it's a pile of shite, you never know.

You'll most likely find yourself looking over your CV even after you've sent it, just checking again and again to see if there are any major mistakes.

The last thing you expect, however, is to find out that the one you've sent is actually a joke résumé.

Unfortunately this aspiring plumber found just that, after he'd sent a Super Mario inspired CV which labelled him a 'part-time plumber and part-time princess rescuer'.

James Bowie-Wooler had asked his girlfriend to draft a CV for him - as that's her job - however, she didn't really want to do work after she'd finished for the day, so she based it on Super Mario.

In the introduction section of his CV she wrote: "A highly professional newly trained plumber, who is skilled at planning and executing dangerous rescue missions repeatedly to save our local princess from the evil clutches of my arch nemesis Bower and his illegitimate child Koopa.

"I will usually work with my brother Luigi and Toad while riding my trusty stead Yoshi.

"I have a number of outfits and can easily morph into Fire Mario, Racoon Mario, Cat Mario and Star Mario."

She then lists that he won on the Rainbow Road in 1996, as well as battling in Super Smash Bros, and was able to fit down pipes.

However, James failed to realise the joke and ended up sending it off to genuine employers. Someone contacted him saying they couldn't find his real CV, and then the penny dropped.

"I then had a sinking feeling, remembering that I have set up all of his job search accounts for him and he has been applying for work with them," his girlfriend, Shannon-Marie Tanner, told Kent Live New.

"A quick login to CV library made me realise the CV he has been sending off to quite a few employers lists him as part-time plumber and part-time princess rescuer, which made me nearly wet myself with laughter."

Could you imagine? He's told many serious plumbers that he has 'extensive' go kart driving experience and is highly efficient in gold coin collecting.
