Mum 'Puts Son Up For Sale' After He Smears TV With Antiseptic Cream

A mum has put her little boy 'up for sale' after he smeared an entire tub of Sudocrem all over ther 52-inch telly. I think that's fair enough, don't you?

Georgia Joyce, 23, from Sunderland, said her back was turned for a couple of minutes while she went to make him a sandwich and came back to his:

Good luck getting that off there.

Little Charlie didn't just mess up the TV, he also got it all over himself, the carpet and the couch, leaving poor Georgia unsure 'whether to laugh or cry'.

Sharing a snap of her grinning son alongside the messy TV, Georgia wrote: "Anyone want a child? It won't come out the brand new carpet or sofa." Perhaps unsurprisingly, it looks like she's had no offers yet.

Georgia said: "I am just ready to put him on eBay. He is my only child but he is enough. This isn't just a one-off. It is the terrible twos.

"I didn't know what to do. It was one of those moments where I thought, 'Do I laugh or cry?'

"You can see in the pictures how proud of himself he was. He was so proud of what he had done. It was his dad that was furious, I couldn't stop laughing."

Charlie was given a telling-off by dad Michael, after he failed to see the funny side of having to scrape antiseptic cream off his beloved telly. I'm with him on this.

Georgie is chilled about the whole thing, though, adding: "I think it is just a rite of passage that a child has a Sudocrem incident.

"How can you tell a two-year-old off for something he is so proud of? Do I punish his creativity? Their minds are different to ours.

"We have got as much as we can out. We can still use the TV but it has stained the carpet and sofa. It is just so oily. We will just have to keep scrubbing."

She needs a medal.
