It's obvious by now that cream cheese and chocolate are a match made in munchie heaven.

Thankfully Asda got the memo, as the supermarket chain has started selling Philadelphia cheese spread mixed with Milka chocolate. Nom, nom, nom.

And if that news wasn't great enough, the 150g tubs are selling for the low, low price of just £1. Get in!

The delectable duo was first spotted by food blogger NewfoodsUK, who uploaded a pic of the find with the caption: "Milka Philadelphia spread at @asda £1."

If you remember, a few years back Philadelphia did the same but with Cadbury's Dairy Milk, and we can confirm that it was delicious. Something tells us that this new Milka treat will be just as great.

There are so many things you could cover in this delicious spread: pancakes, waffles, bagels. You could even use it as a quick and easy base for a cheesecake.

The only issue is that it's not yet been confirmed by Asda whether the product is available across all of its stores, although LADbible has reached out to the UK supermarket for comment.

The idea of a chocolate/cream cheese combo certainly makes a lot more sense than some of the other unusual flavour fusions we've seen in recent times.

What could I possibly mean? Well, there's the Heinz's Cadbury Creme Egg Mayo, aka the spread that no one asked for. Most of us assumed it was nothing more than an April Fool's prank, what with the announcement of its release being made on 1 April.

Yep, Creme Egg mayo. Apparently.

But no, it's a thing and it tastes as confusing as it sounds. Is it a savoury spread? Is it a sweet topping? We're still not entirely sure.

What we do know is that we're well up for spreading a bit of Milka Philadelphia cheese on our toast in the morning. It's a no-brainer.

There must be something in the water, as the past few months have seen the release of Marmite flavoured peanut butter, Parma Violet gin and ginger and sparkle crisps. Still not entirely sure what 'sparkle' tastes like, but either way it does not sound good.Featured Image Credit: Newfoodsuk/Instagram
