Mountain Bikers Catch Footage Of Bear Charging Them During Ride

Mountain Bikers Catch Footage Of Bear Charging Them During Ride

They bear-ly made it.

These mountain bikers were minding their own business, having a lovely ride at the Malinô Brdo in Slovakia, when all of a sudden a massive fuck-off bear joined in.

It seems that the bear is conscious of his weight as it's coming up to summer, so decided to try and get healthy and join the LADs for some exercise.

For some reason, YouTuber Dusan Vinžík and his mate shat themselves. Poor bear.

Barry the bear does terrify the pair. I imagine he's gone home to his cave now and is crying into a family-size bag of Doritos. It's okay, Barry. You're beautiful the way you are.

Some people have taken to crticising the pair for stopping rather than continuing on their bikes. However, the trail ahead had a switchback so they would've crashed into Barry and he probably wouldn't have been very happy.

One YouTuber wrote: "I think the bear was just going to steal his bike."

While another added: "Yeah, it's weird how you encounter animals when you carve a path through their homes."

It reminds me a lot of that video of a woman snowboarding at Hakuba 47 in Japan, blissfully unaware she's being chased by a massive bear.

Sadly, it turned out that the video was fake as fuck. But no one figured that out until after it went seriously viral.

The video shows Kelly Murphy singing absentmindedly while the bear is behind her.

It's now got an impressive 9.4 million views on YouTube, with it being credited to Richard Hughes & Caspar Mazzotti as directors, and Dave Christison as producer.

At the time, Metro reported that 'while brown bears are found on the country's northern island, only black bears live in the wild on the mainland where this video was shot. This animal looks like a brown bear'.

Kelly said: "I'm here with my girlfriends but they were doing lessons and I went off by myself. I've been snowboarding since I was a kid so I felt safe.

"I didn't realise until I looked at the video today! I was freaking out when I saw it and showed my friends who told me to put it on YouTube.

"I've told the ski resort people but I'm not sure if they're going to do anything. Their English wasn't very good so it was hard to understand each other.

"It was so scary!"

Bollocks, Kelly. We know it's fake now.
