Her son is making a film about it.

When Rebecca Danigelis lost her job at the age of 75, she didn't know what to do.

She was so used to working all the time, she felt a little lost. She called her son Sian-Pierre Regis up and left a voicemail for him when he was on a trip to Paris: "I just got fired, just want you to know that. Call me. Bye."

She had been working in hospitality in the States ever since she emigrated from Liverpool in the 60s. Hotels, she said, were her life.

Sian-Pierre remembers growing up over a hotel with his brother, his mum sacrificing everything for them. She even cashed in her pension to pay for his college.

Rebecca had been working on a bucket list for a while, and Sian-Pierre decided it was the perfect time for him to make his mum's dreams a reality.

What a LAD.

And of course, since he's a filmmaker, he's making it into a documentary titled Duty Free.

On her bucket list there's the usual things like travel. But Rebecca isn't your average 75-year-old. She wanted to take a hip-hop class from the dancers behind hit musical Hamilton.

Now, I have a 70-year-old dad and his surname is Hamilton and I know for a fact he's never heard of it. But not only does Rebecca have the knowledge, she also has the moves.

And it has to be said - for 75, she looks amazing. Check out her interpretation of Swan Lake and get ready to be seriously impressed by her legs.

Magical.

She even joined Instagram as part of her bucket list adventure - you can find her @rebrexit. But it wasn't just dancing and milking cows in Vermont - there were more personal things she wanted to do.

Rebecca's strong work ethic had led her to miss out on important events, like the funeral of her sister in England. She hadn't managed to get anyone to cover her shift and couldn't go.

So finally she was able to visit her grave.

But despite a trip to London to throw a penny off London Bridge, Rebecca isn't finished yet. There's still a lot more that she wants to do.

So her son has set up a Kickstarter campaign to raise some money so that Rebecca can get to do everything that she missed out on, and cover the costs of producing Duty Free. So far it's raised over $32,000 (£25,000).

Sian-Pierre told LADbible: "I knew we were doing something special with this bucket list but the response has bowled us over.

"My mum's now not just doing these items for herself but for so many mums who haven't gotten the chance to live life as they always dreamed."

Meanwhile, Rebecca is looking for a job in housekeeping. Turns out, a leopard can't change its spots and she's keen to get back into the workforce again.
