Wow.

We never knew the British were such reliable queuers until we saw this photo.

Taken inside the O2 Arena, the image shows hundreds of punters lining up in sensible fashion to watch Ed Sheeran's gig.

Look at how impressive that formation is.

Andrew Last, who took the picture, told the Evening Standard: "I was at the O2 yesterday seeing Ed Sheeran, and the queue in the picture was for the standing ticket holders.

"People were obeying the invisible lines perfectly for the couple of minutes I was watching before I snapped the picture."

He added: "No one was trying to barge in."

Incredible display, even if it is all for Ed Sheeran. It deserves our respect all the same.

Speaking of Ed, a portrait of him painted by Colin Davidson will be unveiled at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

Colin immortalised Sheeran onto the canvas back in 2015 after meeting his father John Sheeran, an art historian and curator.

"It has been a true privilege to get to know Ed and his family," Colin told Smooth Radio.

"It is my hope that this new portrait offers an alternative insight, one which allows the viewer to glimpse the source of Ed's unique creativity."

Ed recently revealed some minor details about his upcoming appearance on hit show Game of Thrones.

He told The Hits Radio: "I do a scene with Maisie. I sing a song and then she goes, 'Oh, that's a nice song'."

Ed had already starred in a medieval drama The Bastard Executioner and felt at home of the GOT set.

He told the Sun: "It's gruesome and it's going to be fine because my friend wrote it. I feel like people would expect me to be in a rom-com or something, so I wanted to be in something people don't expect me to."
