I'm upset. I'm disappointed. I can't even look at a picture of Ed Sheeran without getting angry.
Remember the whole story of how he got a cut on his face? When Princess Beatrice was waving a ceremonial sword around, pretending to knight James Blunt and she accidentally whacked him and sliced his cheek?
Well, Ed Sheeran and James Blunt made it up.

Speaking to Shortlist, he revealed that they made it up for a laugh. He said: "Ed was drunk, messing around, and he cut himself. We made a fancy story up; people fell for it. It was very embarrassing."
At the time, Ed said: "I got hit in the face and I was like, all right, OK, and then started carrying on and then I looked down at my shirt and it was just completely covered in blood.
"And everyone was kind of gaping open-mouthed at me. What have I got a nosebleed or something? What's happened?"
In fairness, the lads were just having a laugh and it clearly span out of control. But you can't just give us the most British story ever and then snatch it away. Unless they've been told to say it was made up. I don't know.

What's real anymore?!
Ed even appeared on The Graham Norton Show. Although he was very careful to not actually tell the story himself, he pretty much 'confirmed the events'. Or should I say, lied to all our faces.
Rather than blame the princess, Ed jokingly decided to blame James Blunt, saying: "It was James Blunt. It was James Blunt trying to get his pop career back."

James Blunt also appeared on the exact same show and gave his side of the 'story'... kind of.
The story was that Ed was rushed to A&E and then came back to the party to carry on having a good time.
Blunt said: "If he said his face got cut while she was 'knighting' me then dashed to A&E before returning to the party, then he is a liar!

"For a start, she is a princess and would be rehearsed and practised in these matters, and given the NHS waiting lists it would have been impossible to get to hospital and back so quickly!"
He also spoke out about how much hate he gets himself on Twitter and some of his best responses...

Alright, we'll forgive them. But it's going to take time.
