Private images of Emma Watson have been leaked onto the dark web, with some claiming that the haul includes nude images.

Her publicist has confirmed the leak, but insisted that none of the photos feature the Harry Potter star naked.

Emma's representative told The Telegraph: "Photos from a clothes fitting Emma had with a stylist a couple of years ago have been stolen. They are not nude photographs.

"Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further."

Many people are claiming to have seen the images, with some saying they are on 4chan - an anonymous site where posts are deleted shortly after being submitted.

Others claim that they originated on the Dark Web.

This is a part of the internet that is only accessible via special software and is known to contain child pornography, weapons dealing and human trafficking sites.

There are rumours that Amanda Seyfried has also been targeted.

A Reddit user claimed: "There may be a few more names added to that list but these are the big two (Emma and Amanda).

"Don't want to break any Reddit rules so no links right now but there should be some really good drama over the next few days."

Emma has been threatened with a hack before as she spoke out about feminism.

Comments at the time included: "She makes stupid feminist speeches at UN, and now her nudes will be online."

However this hack threat turned out to be false.

Hopefully, this turns out to be false, too.

Emma Watson's Recent 'Topless' Controversy

She recently took part in a photo shoot for Vanity Fair, with one picture managing to cause a bit of a storm on the Internet because some people seem to think it's a topless photo...

As we all know, Emma is a feminism activist.

She helped the launch the HeForShe campaign, which aims to address gender imbalance. As well as being Hermione Granger, she's also an intelligent woman with degrees from Oxford and Brown.

But Julia-Hartley-Brewer, a journalist who seems to enjoy stirring up a bit of controversy, thinks she can't be in a photo shoot for Vanity Fair (where you can see part of her naked flesh) and still call herself a feminist.

Emma Watson grew up in the spotlight, and has spoken about being sexualised as a young teenager.

Photographers used to try and take photos of up her skirt when she was 14. Grim.

Anyway, this new photo shoot she did rubbed one journalist up the wrong way.

You can barely see her breasts.

Also, Emma Watson doesn't complain that she isn't taken seriously because she's pretty much unanimously loved.

But it gets even grosser, when journalist Giles Coren said Watson was "dim-witted, attention-seeking hoyden" who gave the human race "a bad name".

Um, she's not dimwitted, Giles, she's got that Oxford degree, remember.

Plus she's not the one attacking people online; also she just did an edgy fashion shoot, not Playboy.

But it gets worse.

Even though Julia said Emma Watson couldn't be smart and have boobs, because you're not allowed to be sexual as a woman, she reduced the actor to just her body by saying "nice tits" though.

And then Giles Coren says they're a "bit small and flat".

And then Julia boasts about her own breasts. Jesus wept.

Seriously.

Luckily, despite being only twenty-six and "a dim-witted hoyden", Emma Watson is able to talk about things without needlessly attacking people.
