Marilyn Manson: Did He Get Some Ribs Removed To Suck Himself Off?

Hands up who heard the rumour about Marilyn Manson getting some of his ribs removed so that he could suck himself off? Hands up again if it was when you were in school?

Weirdly, it seems everyone and their nan has heard this particular 'fact' at that particular time. And, to be honest, most of us still believe it to this day. What we really want to know, though, is whether or not it's actually true.

Surely, there's no smoke without fire.

Well, straight off I'm going to tell you... it's not true. Marilyn Manson did not have his ribs removed in order to perform self-fellatio. WTF! I was 100% convinced!

There goes literally everything I believed from high school. There was also that one rumour that a girl had been caught pleasuring herself with a strange, inanimate object. In the case of my school it was a troll doll. I'm showing my age here.

The rumour can most likely be traced back to December 27, 1994. Manson (real name Brian Warner) was arrested after a concert for 'violating the adult entertainment code'. According to reports, Manson was kept at a police station for 16 hours before being released without charge. The police were under the impression that Manson had performed oral sex on a man while performing on stage.

However, what actually happened was very different. Jack Off Jill vocalist, Jessicka, was apparently wearing a prosthetic penis at the gig. No real penis was involved.

In Manson's autobiography, 'The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell', he writes: "If I really got my ribs removed, I would have been busy sucking my own dick on The Wonder Years instead of chasing Winnie Cooper.

"Plus, who really has time to be killing puppies when you can be sucking your own dick? I think I'm gonna call the surgeon in the morning."

The Wonder Years reference is to another rumour that Manson starred in the show back when he was a kid. It was actually Josh Saviano. However, they did look similar... And, of course, the puppies thing is sarcasm.

So there you have it. Also, Prince didn't get his ribs removed to suck himself off either.
