Christmas is coming, which also means that McDonald's is launching its seasonal menu to the delight of - wait, what's THIS. No Festive Pie? Are you taking the piss, you subhuman, burger-making scum?
What a travesty. Yes, unfortunately - horrifically - the fast food chain has ditched its mincemeat/custard winter treat from its selection, which launches Wednesday.

A spokeswoman has tried to salvage any respectability McDonald's has left by claiming the pie is to return some time in the future.

She said: "We know our customers love our Chocolatey Banoffee Pie so we are delighted to be bringing it back, as well as two new products including the Festive Cheese Feast and Terry's Chocolate Orange McFlurry.
"We've not forgotten about the Festive Pie and it may be back on the menu in future. Watch this space!"
Yeah, I will. And in the meantime, you and the rest of the Maccies team can sleep with one eye open.
