Let's face it, how many 'Best Horror Film of 2017!' trailers do we see a year that don't turn out or prove themselves in any way? A trailer's job is to make something look good. I bet the trailer to Marley and Me is up there with The Force Awakens' trailer, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's as good a film.
However, this new preview of upcoming horror 'Raw' looks pretty good all things considered.
Here's the premise:

"Everyone in Justine's family is a vet. And a vegetarian. At 16, she's a brilliant and promising student. When she starts at veterinary school, she enters a decadent, merciless and dangerously seductive world. During the first week of hazing rituals, desperate to fit in whatever the cost, she strays from her family's principles when she eats raw meat for the first time. Justine will soon face the unexpected consequences of her actions as her true self begins to emerge."
Still not quite there? Watch the trailer below.
I like that it works on all your senses, right down to that crunch of raw meat.

In these days of gritty realism, though, I think the film would do better if it began with a dodgy post-Saturday night doner kebab. Time will tell!
