An admirable achievement.

Some addictions are crippling, some even life threatening.

Now, I'd never advocate the use of things like heroin, but when it comes to the greasy goodness of high street pasties, then I can only suggest that you revel in it. A Greggs addiction is something to enjoy, rather than something question.

When it comes to loving Greggs, there are many places, especially in the north, who argue over who loves it more. Now, thanks to a survey, we have the answer to which city in the UK is the biggest hot pot for sausage roll enthusiasts.

It turns out that those Scousers in the north west love a steak bake, with 34 Greggs stores across Merseyside, with 21 of those in Liverpool. This means that you are more than 60 percent more likely to have one of the stores near you than the average place in Britain.

The Liverpool Echo reported that there 4.4 outlets for every 100,000 residents in the 2008 capital of culture, against the 2.7 branches for Britain as a whole for the same amount of people.

The Scousers had the same amount of Greggs stores per head as the Scots, according to figures from Greggs' online store locator.

I can image Jurgen Klopp loves a meat and potato pasty from Greggs, you know. Can of super strength lager in his back pocket, 20 pack of Regal and a Greggs lunch at Albert Docks - I wouldn't be surprised if that's how he spent his days off.
