The New Oreo Flavour Is Very Questionable

The New Oreo Flavour Is Very Questionable

In reality there's not much you can really do to improve an Oreo.

Some people are fans of the peanut butter version of the snack, or the rarer strawberry alternative, but when it comes to choosing a favourite, it's usually the original.

However, just because it's hard to better, there's absolutely no harm in coming up with more versions that we can get our laughing gear round.

The new flavour seems a bit odd and out there, but it's very intriguing indeed.

Known as the limited edition 'Fireworks Oreo' there's not so much a change in the taste, but rather the sensation. The ever great filling of the biscuit has popping candy in it, Metro reports.

Popping candy is an odd one. For some it's absolutely repulsive, for others it's a revelation whereas there's a small group of people who sit on the fence.

Of course though, if you are curious about the new Nabisco product, you're going to have to travel to the States, as they're only available there.

It's not the first time this sort of thing has happened, however earlier in the year Cadbury's dropped a limited edition Oreo Creme Egg in the UK.

The treat had already been doing the rounds in places like Canada, but made its way over to our shores back in January, according to Metro.

It's effectively the same outer shell that contains the goodness of a Creme Egg, but instead harnesses the true power and sweetness of Oreo cream and biscuit.

Canadians have reportedly been enjoying the delight of this for a least a year, but if you look in the right places over here, you'll be able to find one yourself.

There is some disappointment, as there has been a decision to mess about with the packaging and throw some plastic around the egg rather than wrapping it in its usual foil - pointless.
